Local AI Model Download

The on-device AI model is optional. To enable all five thinking methods and rewrite features offline, open Settings in InspirationDraft, tap Download Local AI Model, and wait until the status shows ready. The initial download requires an internet connection and sufficient free storage.

• If the download fails, check your connection, keep the app open, and try again.
• If storage is low, free up device space or remove the model and re-download later.
• Once installed, all AI thinking and rewrite actions run on-device — no internet required.
• You can also configure your own OpenAI-compatible endpoint in Settings if you prefer cloud AI.

Privacy and Data

Your drafts, attached images, derived stickers, and image-analysis results are stored locally and may sync through your private iCloud account. InspirationDraft does not operate a backend draft store. When using Local AI, inference runs on your device. If you configure a third-party AI endpoint, only the content you explicitly submit is sent to the endpoint you chose.

Images, editing, and export

You can preview, rotate, restore, and turn image subjects into stickers inside a draft. Markdown image blocks remain linked to their stored attachments while you edit. Image-rich drafts can be exported as PDF or MHTML with document branding, dates, rounded images, and sticker glow.

Version Timeline

Each time you save a draft, InspirationDraft can create a version snapshot. To restore an older version, open the draft, tap the clock icon, and select any previous snapshot. Versions are stored locally on your device and in iCloud.

Scene Categories

You can organise drafts using built-in scene tags (Work, Startup, Writing, Learning, etc.) or create custom categories. To manage categories, go to Settings → Scene Categories.

Organize Ideas and Create Reminders

From a draft card on the home screen, open the context menu and choose Organize Idea to fill in missing metadata without replacing information you already added.

Choose Convert to Reminder to let the ready local model split an idea into one or more reminder drafts. Review the read-only preview, deselect any item you do not want, then tap Add to Reminders. Only the items you leave selected are written to Apple Reminders.

• Reminder conversion requires the selected local model to be ready.
• Dates are left blank unless the idea contains a clear absolute date.
• No reminder is created until you confirm the preview.
